Citizens Request: This time is set aside for the Citizens of Jackson County to address the School Board. This is not a question and answer period, nor a political forum. Personal accusations and/or derogatory remarks will not be tolerated. Comments should be limited to three minutes or less. In the interest of time, the Chairman reserves the right to limit the number of speakers on a single topic to two individuals. CITIZEN’S REQUEST AND COMMENTS FOR A VIRTUAL MEETING: The following are ways for citizens to provide input to the board for the Citizen’s Request section of the agenda and/or for specific agenda item(s) during this time of virtual only meetings: (1) Prior to the meeting day, email your statement or question to firstname.lastname@example.org (2) The subject of your email should include “Citizen’s Request” or the specific board agenda item number. (3) Emails will be shared with the board members and attached to the board minutes.

Due to COVID-19 this meeting with be a VIRTUAL meeting through Microsoft Teams application. If you desire to appeal any decision made by the board, agency, or commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing you will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, you need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
